Lyndon Arthur dragged himself off the canvas to stop Braian Suarez in the tenth round with a vicious body shot to become the new IBO light heavyweight champion.

After Arthur’s comeback victory, Samuel Antwi claimed the title of British super welterweight. He brutally halted Mason Cartwright in a thrilling Fight of the Year battle.

Lyndon Arthur, who was dropped in the fourth round, said: “I weathered the storm, kept using the jab. I caught him with a good body shot, and he went down.
“I’ve got a good chin. I can take a shot and don’t mind going to war.
“Suarez was one tough opponent; he had 17 knockouts from 18 fights, but I weathered the storm and stopped him with that body shot.”
