As we head into another busy boxing calendar, the current Pound for Pound Top 50 list has been finalized for January 2018.
All records have been reset for the New Year as fighters vie to be recognized as the Pound for Pound best on the planet.
As we leave 2017 behind, Gennady Golovkin holds the honor of holding the P4P crown, with Vasyl Lomachenko in second place.
Ironically, both champions are heading the race to be hailed as WBN’s Fighter of the Year for 2017 as voted for by readers.
Also in the top ten are the likes of Terence Crawford, who is about to attempt to clean up in another division after dominating at 140, whilst Canelo Alvarez would need to defeat Golovkin in a rematch to state his case to be number one.
Mikey Garcia, Naoya Inoue, Keith Thurman, Jorge Linares, Srisaket Sor Rungvisai and forthcoming opponent Juan Estrada all make up the rest of the main spots.
