Formerly prominent members of the boxing community, Kellie Maloney and Audley Harrison, entered the world of reality television on Monday night.
Both prepare for what could be a three-week stint on Celebrity Big Brother.
Audley Harrison and Kellie Maloney on Celebrity Big Brother
Ex-European heavyweight champion Harrison, 42, and 61-year-old Maloney, who oversaw Lennox Lewis’ rise to stardom, joined a host of other faces from TV and film for the flagship show on Channel 5.
Harrison, known as ‘A-Force’ throughout his career, has been semi-retired since losing to Deontay Wilder in just 70 seconds in April 2014. He does harbor hopes of making a comeback once evicted from the house.
In stark contrast, Maloney has been living as a woman since stepping away from boxing last October – after seeing main fighter David Price devastatingly lose twice to Tony Thompson on home soil.
Maloney, formerly known as Frank, is the current joint favorite to win the show alongside GoggleBox couch potato George Gilby. While Harrison enjoyed a decent reception from fans as he made his entrance.
Others living in the house alongside Maloney and Harrison are 1990’s Hollywood superstar Gary Busey, recently sacked Strictly Come Dancing professional James Jordan and porn star Angelique ‘Frenchy’ Morgan.
