WBN Pound for Pound Top 50: Final Standings for 2015

Floyd Mayweather Jr once again tops the World Boxing News P4P list following two victories in the past year. The veteran defeated Manny Pacquiao on May 2 in the most lucrative bout of all time before retiring in September, but will remain at the helm until one year passes without the 38 year-old going for that coveted 50th fight as a mark of respect for his significant achievements.

Roman Gonzalez, Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford all enjoyed breakthrough success in 2015, whilst the likes of Naoya Inoue, Deontay Wilder and Keith Thurman will be aiming to emulate them in 2016.

New light heavyweight contender Andre Ward is back in the mix now that activity is on the cards with Roc Nation and Nonito Donaire enjoyed a far better year than 2014 to re-enter the Top 10.

Heavyweight king Tyson Fury will break that Top 10 for the first time should he retain his belts in an imminent rematch with Wladimir Klitschko this spring, whilst there is more work to do for the likes of Amir Khan, Adonis Stevenson and Kell Brook.

Four-weight world title holder Miguel Cotto suffered a huge drop, as did Klitschko and Pacquiao, although the UK enjoyed a record number of entrants on the back of massive world title success in 2015.
