Fury believes Parker will ‘smash’ the tough Cameroon-born Frenchman Takam and that the kiwi sensation ‘doesn’t need luck’.
Parker will fight Carlos Takam on May 21 in an IBF Title Eliminator bout. The winner will become the number one mandatory challenger and face either Charles Martin or Anthony Joshua for the IBF belt.
Parker is currently ranked WBO#1, IBF#6, WBC#6 and WBA#10
Negotiations on where the Parker/Takam bout will be staged have reached a stalemate between the two camps and it is highly likely to go to purse bid after today.
