Whyte, 28, was due to face the bare-knuckle boxer / paid rank operator this Saturday night at the O2 but is now set to battle Ivica Bacurin on Saturday night.
“Danny Battyholder has pulled out of the fight. Bare-knuckle? – More like bare arse,” said Whyte.
‘The Villain’ is aiming to get back in the win column following defeat to Anthony Joshua in December and fights on the IBF heavyweight champion’s undercard this weekend.
Joshua goes up against undefeated American Dominic Breazeale in what will be the Londoner’s first defence of the coveted red belt.
In the co-feature, former world title challengers George Groves and Martin Murray go head-to-head for a possible super middleweight championship chance, whilst Anthony Ogogo, Kal Yafai and Conor Benn back up an undercard topped by Chris Eubank Jr v Tom Doran and John Wayne Hibbert v Andrea Scarpa.
