In his last fight on August 26 at the Roberto Clemente Coliseum, ‘Dangerous’ Santana greatly surprised boxing connoisseurs as he only needed 1:49 of the first round to snatch the undefeated from the strong and dangerous puncher Jostin Ortiz (4-1 , 3KOs) from whom referee Ramon Peña had to take it away because he had Ortiz knocked out standing.
Yan Carlos Santana will have his first headline in the next Boxeo al Máximo Internacional card that will be presented by Miguel Cotto Promotions together with H2 Entertainment on WAPA Deportes next, November 10 at the Coliseíto Pedrín Zorrilla in San Juan, PR.
“We are improving every day and focusing more and more on my career. The work is hard and I am giving it harder so that on November 10 they will see a better Yan Santana,” said Santana.
For his part, ‘el bori’ as they call him in his gym in Monterrey in Bayamón, he indicated that he wants to show that at 126 pounds he is the best. “I want to show that in the 126 division I am the best and I have the resources to fight the biggest challenges and become world champion,” Santana concluded.
