Former Anthony Joshua opponent banned for two-years: UKAD outline full ruling against Eric Molina
Eric Molina has been suspended for two years by UK Anti-Doping as a result of an adverse test following his fight with Anthony Joshua in December 2016.
The 36-year-old, who is due to fight Mariusz Wach in Poland this weekend, was found to have traces of a banned steroid in his urine months after the fight took place.
Joshua won the fight in the third round at Manchester Arena and Molina continued his career, winning one and losing one of his next two outings in 2017.
The American has now learned of the ban and is contemplating his next move after making a U-turn from the airport whilst on the verge of flying to Europe for the Wach fight.
UKAD have stated the suspension will run from 28 October 2017 to 27 October 2019, with Molina already commenting on the severity of the punishment handed down.
