Loeffler headed to ‘The Lone Star State’ with the current middleweight king to secure and announce a partnership with the Tecate beer company as negotiations continue with Canelo and his team at Golden Boy.
Golovkin fought out a debated draw with Canelo in September, with the general consensus being the Kazakh did enough to come out on top.

The result wasn’t the end of the world for all concerned, though, and gives fans the chance to see another installment on ‘Cinco de Mayo’ weekend of 2018.
Las Vegas was initially thought to be the frontrunner to host at the T-Mobile Arena once again, although Loeffler threw a spanner in the works with his social media post.
Whether Canelo is one hundred percent going to be the next fight for ‘GGG’ is also yet to be confirmed as the K2 team put plans in place for what is sure to be another Pay-Per-View offering on HBO.
