Redkach bounces back as Benavidez impresses and Taylor wins in Vegas

Featuring on another huge bill, Redkach made sure of victory in the final round after seemingly building his way to a decision win.

The Ukrainian-born southpaw dropped Brock late on as the 30 year-old recorded a 20th career triumph and can look forward to another big test in the future.

Young Mexican-American contender David Benavidez produced a hurtful display as the powerful super-middleweight made it to 17-0 with minimal fuss. The 20 year-old dropped Uzbek Sherali Mamajonov late in the first round with a body-head combination before finishing the fight in the very next round.

Josh Taylor out-classed a rugged opponent in Alfonso Olvera as the Scotsman recorded and eighth career win, this time over eight rounds. The super-lightweight, currently signed with Barry McGuigan, looked a bit too eager at times but used his superior quality to secure a 79-72, 78-73 (twice) victory despite losing a point for a low blow.

Featherweight Leduan Barthelemy pushed to 12-0 with a six-round decision over Jesus Aguinaga, whilst welterweight Herbert Acevedo did similar by taking a points win over Chris Singleton.

Earlier, Jerry Perez made a successful pro debut with a first round knockout of Javier Cepeda, whilst Antonio Santa Cruz carded a decision win over Victor Torres through four rounds at bantamweight.
