Floyd Mayweather has reacted to Dana White’s offer of $25m each for the ex-pound for pound king to face Conor McGregor in 2017.
The 39 year-old, retired from boxing since September 2015, made it clear he would consider a return to face the Irishman recently but has baulked at the figures quoted.
Before you ask for $25M, be worth more than $25M. You have the "2" and the "5" right but you meant to say $2.5M not $25M. pic.twitter.com/07vaWF0hen

Mayweather is only interested in a nine-figure deal to take on the two-weight UFC champion and doesn’t expect McGregor to earn anywhere near his own purse.
Fans from both codes are hopeful an historic deal can be made at some point, but at the moment the pair couldn’t be further apart in the monetary sense.
