Back in June of this year, history was made when Nurshahidah Roslie became the first professional boxing champion from Singapore, winning the UBO Female Inter-Continental Super Featherweight title, and now the time has come to crown another UBO champion in the small Southeast-Asian Island state.
26-year-old Muhammad Meeraj has a record of 6-1 (2), and considered one of the brightest prospects from Malaysia. His opponent, Elly Pangaribuan (37) is a more seasoned 10-9-3 (5), and has fought for several WBC regional titles.
The UBO Asia-Pacific title fight will be one of the main attractions on the fourth edition of the Singapore Fighting Championships series, billed as “SFC4 – Changing The Game”, and will be promoted by Arvind Lalwani in association with Scott Parick Farrell´s Ringstar Management.
