Cruiserweight Biola Kudus joins Goodwin Boxing
Promising 30 year old Portsmouth Cruiserweight Biola Kudus is the latest prospect to join the Goodwin Boxing team and sign a 3 year contract with Steve Goodwin.
Trained by Barry Smith in London, Biola has racked up 6 wins from 7 contests with his sole loss to date being against Karl Wheeler in a challenger belt title earlier this year.
“Steve is the man that is making things happen for his boxers. There is really no better alternative for any boxer who wants to see their careers move forward. After a meeting with Steve and his team I am really excited for the future and now have a plan and strategy going forward. The boxers that I know who are with Steve only say good things and I can now see why.”
Biola will take on “The Ryno” Ryan Crawford in a 10 round clash on September 17th as part of the massive and exciting LETHAL COMBINATION bill promoted by Olivia Goodwin.
“I believe the best of me is yet to come” said Biola “At some point in the future I would love a rematch with Karl Wheeler to avenge my only loss but if it happens it happens. Karl was the winner on the night and full credit to him but I believe I can reverse that result and hopefully we can do it for a bigger title one day.”
As for the next opponent Biola says “The Crawford fight will be a war. He is one tough man and I know I will have to dig deep. There will be something big in line for the winner and it is a fight I need to win.”
