Boxing brands SARTONK, Suzi Wong, and World Boxing News have collaborated to celebrate WBN’s fifth anniversary.

Commissioned in 2015 as World Boxing News hit a landmark half-decade, SARTONK, and Suzi Wong began preparations to complete a unique WBN belt and shorts to commemorate the occasion.

Since its formation on August 1, 2010, World Boxing News has been and continues to be, a leading news breaker in the boxing world.

WBN has gained a global reputation and is recognized by many top fighters, promoters, and managers as a credible source for information on upcoming fights.

The belt and shorts are the culmination of five years of hard work by all involved with WBN. The launch is a pleasing end to seven months of preparation by SARTONK and Suzi Wong since the anniversary passed on August 1, 2015.

Quote from Phil D. Jay on Sartonk’s input into WBN Belt

“SARTONK is the top designer and manufacturer of boxing belts, including many straps produced for the WBA, WBO, and IBF. They were the first and only choice to be involved in this project.

“Working with Ed and his team was a dream for me. I’m so happy with how things have turned out.

President of SARTONK, Ed Majian, commented:

“We’re thrilled to have designed this belt for Phil. The sheer volume of exclusive news on WBN is a testament to his tireless and devoted work. Boxing writers are an integral part of our sport in connecting fans to news and information.

“It was an absolute pleasure for us to create this belt to celebrate him. To celebrate his tremendous work building a reputable boxing news source.

UK-based Suzi Wong recently designed costumes for the hit Sylvester Stallone movie ‘Creed,’ and has worked on an exceptional pair of trunks for WBN. They come complete with patches from all five organizations.

Quote from Phil D. Jay on Suzi Wong:

“Suzi Wong is well-known in the industry for their superb work with several boxers, including Tony Bellew, Anthony Crolla, and many more. They were the obvious choice when it came to finding capable hands for the shorts.

“The process was smooth from day one. I can only thank Melissa and everyone at Suzi Wong Custom Boxing Shorts & Fightwear for their efforts.

Quote from Suzi Wong:

“We were delighted to be asked to be involved in WBN’s project celebrating their fifth anniversary. The shorts came out great in conjunction with Phil’s specifications, and we are pleased with the result.”

WBN would like to thank SARTONK and Suzi Wong for their dedication to this project and would urge anyone interested in having a belt or shorts made to visit these two market leaders here: SARTONK / Suzi Wong Custom Boxing Shorts & Fightwear.
