Goodwin Boxing is one of the fastest growing managerial and promotional outfits in the UK and have just unveiled their latest signing in Paulie Malignaggi’s protegee Andrea Crepaldi.
Crepaldi who hails from Italy and now resides in the UK was a top class amateur in Italy winning many titles before heading to the USA and training out of Gleasons Gym in New York competed at the highest level including the Golden Gloves.
Now based in Finchley and trained by Tony Pill, Crepaldi became the latest future star to put pen to paper signing a long term contract with Steve Goodwin.
Crepaldi has close links with Paulie Malignaggi who helped him whilst in New York and Paulie has pledged his support to Andrea in his career in the UK.
“We are looking to get Andrea out every month from May through to December” said Goodwin. “He will be campaigning at Lightweight/Super-Lightweight and the aim is to get him to title level very quickly.”
Andrea said “I am delighted that Paulie will continue to support me and look forward to when he comes to London to help promote my fights. It was the obvious and best decision to sign with Steve Goodwin and I would like to thank my trainer Tony and Steve for backing me”
