Sandy Robb ready for Tony Moran test in 2016

Robb who has boxed all over the world will looking to be make a statement against Moran who was pitted against Roy Jones Jr in 2015. The Nairn native will be bringing a big support to The Glasgow Hotel in the early months of next year as he looks to kick on with his career and he see’s Moran as the ideal stepping stone to kick start his career in the UK.

“I feel great just to be back boxing back in Scotland it’s going to a good fight the atmosphere will be brilliant. I feel very lucky to be given this opportunity and plan to put on a good show for everyone”.

The fight is set to be an explosive one as both fighters don’t hang around and like to load up with punches. Moran has displayed punching in his last outing demolishing the tough Jimmy Campbell inside two rounds. Robb expects to land big punches on Moran,

“It might be a shootout! I have fought a lot of big punchers amateur and pro never been down yet. He’s been knocked out a few times and he’s getting on, but I’m going to expect him at his best”.

Tickets details will be announced shortly for a card which includes Craig Docherty in a WBF World title contest, Frankie Monkhouse and Renfrew’s Andy Miller making his pro debut.
