The 43 year-old battles Mayorga at The Forum in California on August 29, seven years on from their first meeting, and Mosley firmly believes fans should spend their money on watching him score another victory over the controversial Nicaraguan rather than paying $75 for Floyd Mayweather v Andre Berto.
“My PPV is better and cheaper than Mayweather vs Berto,” stressed Mosley. “Why pay $74.99 to watch Mayweather dance in HD when you can pay under $50 to watch me KO a s***-talking lunatic.
“Mayorga smoked cigarettes his whole career and drinks his own p***. He needs some sense knocked into him.
“I hear Mayweather v Berto fight is expected to do 600k (buys), so if people spending $75 for that crap then they definitely should pay for a Mosley v Mayorga war,” he added.
Mayorga, 41, has fought two low keys bouts since initially hanging up his gloves in 2011 when losing to Miguel Cotto and just four in total since Mosley inflicted a seventh career reverse on him previously.
