Former super-middleweight king Mikkel Kessler is on the lookout for his next opponent after confirming his potential targets for a fight in early 2015.
The 35 year-old Dane has been out of action for 17 months since his rematch defeat to Carl Froch in the UK and noted in the video below that he is ready and willing to engage in a third fight with the Briton.
Kessler v Froch is currently locked at one fight apiece following the May 2013 clash in London and the ‘Viking Warrior’ has made himself available for Froch’s proposed return date of January 31.
A second clash with American Andre Ward, whom Kessler lost to in 2009 has also been discussed, although the tragic loss of the WBA champion’s promoter Dan Goossen has left the possible contest up in the air.
