The 33 year-old, who planning a comeback after two years out of the ring, took part in the video for More Than insurance as he is a dog lover himself and has two chihuahua’s.
It’s a far cry from the Londoner’s trash talking persona as a fighter and sees Haye, complete with a never-seen-before funky afro hairdo, talk through the two-minute spot with some composure.
Haye has always enjoyed the spotlight away from boxing, although this latest move may not endear him any better with the die hard fans of the sport, who already see the ‘Hayemaker’ in a less than flattering light.
Complaining of his big toe when losing to Wladimir Klitschko in 2011, before pulling out of clashes with Manuel Charr and Tyson Fury twice has left Haye’s reputation in need of a boost, which I am not sure this latest move will provide.
