Kell Brook had a typically quick response to the news UK rival Amir Khan is set to appear on jungle TV show 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!' beginning this weekend.
The former world welterweight champion has been chasing a fight with Khan for some time now and questioned whether joining the Bolton man on the show would mean he gets closer to landing a future encounter.
"I think he's travelled over to the other end of the world to get away from me," Brook exclusively told Sky Sports.
"The next thing he'll be saying is, if Kell comes to the jungle and lasts longer than he does, he'll fight me then!
"He's always finding some kind of excuse and now he's travelled to the other side of the world to get away from me."
Adding his thoughts on the hit TV series, which has run since 2002, 'The Special One' said he'd definitely be tuning in.
"It is a programme that I do enjoy watching. I'm looking forward to seeing him on the show.
"I'll be voting for him to eat some kangaroo testicles or something like that. I'll make sure that he has to do something for avoiding the fight with me," joked Brook.
Khan was due to return to the ring in December but has pushed that deadline back to February in a bid to enhance his public perception following months of bad press due to personal problems.
'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!' begins this Sunday on ITV.
