Bellew confirmed his desire to campaign in the top division following his win over David Haye in March and semi-retired Fury has emerged as the number one target for the Liverpudlian.
“I like Tyson, we get on great, but if he keeps calling me out then we might have to have a dance,” said Bellew, according to The Daily Star.
“Could we sit down and get it on? We’ve had talks. It’s a possibility.
“Tyson is a different type of proposition. He’s not a big, fast explosive heavyweight like Wladimir Klitschko or Anthony Joshua, but he’s still an amazing fighter with a great boxing brain on his shoulders.
“Could I outbox him in the ring for 12 rounds? Maybe I can, maybe I can’t.
“We’ve had talks. Since I took Haye’s scalp, we’ve had talks with Fury’s people,” he added.

Fury, 27, took to social media to state his interest in the fight, questioning whether he’d be able to put the Ring Magazine title – the only one left in his possession – on the line for any future contest.
At 26 stone, Fury would have a long hard slog dropping the necessary weight to face a considerably smaller heavyweight in Bellew, although David Haye might yet have a say about which direction the fight goes in.
Haye fought Bellew with a clear injury the first time around and a rematch between both fighters seems to have the legs to give the pair another massive payday and would be a more realistic match-up than one opposite Fury.
