In one of the finishes of the weekend, heavyweight Simon Kean knocked out Adam Braidwood in all but putting his rival on the canvas.
Braidwood took heavy blows in the third, and as Kean himself stumbled back from the force of his blows, the Richmond man stumbled across the ring unaware of his surroundings.
Bouncing off the ropes, which if not there would have seen Braidwood fall into the crowd, the 35 year-old was correctly halted on his stool as he could just about sit down.
Speaking on the Kean win, Eye of the Tiger Management said:“A shocking victory for Simon Kean tonight at the Gervais Auto Centre.
“Not only this win by KO in the 3rd round allows him to get his hand on the French WBC title, but also formalizes Simon’s #1 position in the heavy category in Canada!
“This fight closes the hostilities that have been going on for a year and a half between the two giants. Congratulations Simon!”
