Zab Judah returns from a year out this Saturday in Canada

‘Super’ Judah is set to face Mexican Noel Mejia Rincon at the Grey Eagle Resort and Casino in Calgary, Alberta looking for a 44th victory at the Michael Short event.

The 40 year-old last fought almost exactly one year ago when stopping Jorge Luis Munguia in two rounds which also came three years after back-to-back losses against Paulie Malignaggi and Danny Garcia.

Judah tops the bill in a super-lightweight contest hoping victory over Rincon, 33, will lead to bigger fights later in 2018.

Also featuring on the card, middleweight Albert Onolunose takes on Victor Palacios, whilst super featherweight Alvin Tam and welterweight Devon Reti are set to appear.

A trio of prospects also take their places on the bill as lightweight Gwyn Lewis faces fellow-undefeated fighter Cristobal Diego and light heavyweight Zach Manywounds bids for a third straight pro triumph.
