Maricela took some time to answer questions from the girls, and motivate the youth to never give up and to always follow their dreams. Anything is possible.
Female Boxing itself is a difficult sport but Maricela Cornejo is determined to make a difference and inspire as many future champions as possible to never give up, to keep fighting for their dreams as she continues to fight for hers. The girls (and boys who joined) were very happy with the gifts Maricela brought them like hand wraps, WBC Cares hats, WBC patches and Hands Of Stone posters.
Cornejo will be the Estrella Channel TV Opener for Golden Boy Boxing’s LA FIGHT CLUB on October 7th at Belasco Theater in Los Angeles, CA. This is a huge step for Female Boxing and much respect to Oscar De La Hoya, Roberto Diaz and Golden Boy Boxing for putting Females in their televised fights! Maricela is also preparing for her appearance on the third season of Celebrity KNOCKOUT which will be televised on FUSE TV.
