Joyce, 30, was beaten by Tony Yoka, most would argue wrongly on the scorecards after throwing almost triple the amount of punches and landing double over the Frenchman.

A silver medal is still a great achievement for Joyce as Team GB beat their medal total from the home Games of 2012.
The Londoner is now set to be inundated with offers to turn pro.
Joshua won the world title just two and half years after making his pro debut under Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing in October 2013 and Joyce has less time on his hands after entering the sport late at 22 back in 2008.
