Sylvester Stallone picked up the first major acting honour of his career on Sunday night at the 73rd annual Golden Globes ceremony.
The 69 year-old star of Rocky, Rambo, The Expendables and many other hit movies, claimed the coveted gong for his portrayol of Rocky Balboa in Ryan Coogler’s ‘Creed’.
Despite celebrating a massive honour, Stallone has been criticised in some quarters for failing to acknowledge Coogler and co-star Michael B. Jordan during his acceptance speech.
Coogler and Jordan fought alongside Stallone in attempting to get the film made when plenty of important figures turned down the opportunity to be involved.
