Stamp Kiatniwat to defend interim WBA belt on Thursday in Thailand

First-ranked by the WBA, the undefeated Thai is a two-year pro (14-0, 6 KOs) who most recently fought in July, decisioning Lebron for the vacant title.

His 33-year-old opponent from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, is a four-year ring vet (13-3, 11 KOs). Fourth-ranked by the WBA, “Piche Malo” has won five of his last six and has only been stopped once, knocked out in the fourth by Luis Cosme in January 2011, Lebron’s first bout.

Prior to his loss to Kiatniwat, he was last defeated in January 2013, decisioned by Julio Cesar Paniagua. He most recently won in September 2014, knocking out Angelo Munoz in the fourth for the vacant WBA Fedelatin flyweight title.
