The judges Scored a majority decision to April, 114-114, 116-112 and 117-111.
April Retained his world belt for the second time His record improved to 19-3-1, 8 KOs, while Tatli falls for first time in 24 fights made ??(23-1, 7 KOs).
Elsewhere in Sinaloa, Mexico, Carlos Cuadras remains the WBC super-flyweight champion after a clash of heads put a premature stop to his defense against Jose Salgado.
The technical draw represents the first blemish in 31 fights for Cuadras after doctors called the clash of in conjuction with referee Jay Nady.
Cuadras, who suffered a bad cut, was due to put his belt on the line against former world champion on November 13, although that fight may now be pushed back as the title holder recovers
