The 25 year-old, who has signed a three-fight deal with the long-time promoter, has been deep in preparation with his trainer and uncle Peter for an upcoming clash with American Joey Abell on February 15.
Former world heavyweight title challenger Eddie Chambers has recently joined up with Team Fury as a permanent fixture and Fury says his new training partner was the cause of a recent incident in camp.
Fury has been let down himself due to a cut in the past when slated to face David Haye, but the 6ft 9ins brute is not about to pull out of this fight having been out of the ring for almost a year because of the actions of his compatriot.
“Look, I got cut in sparring yesterday (Friday),” said Fury. “Should I do a ‘Hayemaker’ and pull out my next fight? Pussy, No! I’m still fighting!”
It’s less than a week from when Fury shares the ring with late replacement Abell, with the former British and Irish champion knowing nothing but a stellar performance will do to keep him in with a chance of a rematch with Dereck Chisora in the summer.
