Seventeenth career defeat for stubborn Danny Williams

Williams, who at 39 is a far cry from his hey day of knocking out a faded Mike Tyson, was roundly dismantled over ten rounds by Price and has now been defeated seven times in a row.

37 year-old Price looked by far the fresher fighter having only turned pro in 2007 and is now 14-1 after scoring a wide points win in Klimovsk to return to winning ways following a three round defeat to Deontay Wilder.

Hopefully Williams will now see the light and do what he should have done five years ago and step away from the ring, although ‘The Brixton Bomber’ has an agreement in place for ‘one last fight’ against Dominic Negus in London on June 22.
