Crawford, 29, was remanded in custody on Thursday regarding an incident at a car body shop in April and subsequently denied release on appeal through his lawyer.
Unless something can be done in the next few days, Crawford could spend up to 50 days behind bars due to a term handed down just days after defending his belts against John Molina Jr.

Valcarcel, a former lawyer himself, revealed his dismay at Crawford’s incarceration as the American was the only one of seven defendants to be given a custodial sentence.
“As a criminal trial lawyer for 42 years, I was shocked when I read the sentence imposed on Terence Crawford. (I’ve) Never seen such sentence (handed down) for alleged charges,” said Valcarcel.
