Floyd Mayweather has given his opinion on the recent Matchroom Boxing deal with Perform to show future events on DAZN’s streaming service.
The former pound for pound king, without delving into the finer points of the deal, seemed to insinuate Hearn would not know a boxer’s mind as well as him.
Mayweather did manage to congratulate Hearn on sealing what is effectively a deal worth over $110 million per annum over eight years.
Hearn is set to begin the process of recruiting talent for his new venture over the summer, with the likes of Deontay Wilder and the Charlo brothers, all of whom are represented by Mayweather’s advisor Al Haymon, top of his shopping list.
