Tyson Fury is yet to announce a comeback fight date but close friend Isaac Lowe believes he is going to come back better than ever.

The lineal heavyweight champion hasn’t fought since prying the unified belts from Wladimir Klitschko’s hands with relative ease back in November 2015.

Lowe has witnessed the ‘Gypsy King’ first hand in training and gave his insight in an exclusive interview with WBN.

“Yeah he’s looking great Tyson, as always people have written him off,” Lowe exclusively told World Boxing News.

“He’s never gonna get the weight off, he’s 24 stone, no chance. Look at him now, he’s making people eat their words and I think in the next few weeks, he’s got a massive deal coming out for ‘The Return of the Mack’ –  as they say.”

Despite having over two years out of the ring, Lowe says the break has helped Fury.

“He’s back, what I’ve seen in the gym is a TEN TIMES better Tyson Fury. I think the rest and time out has done him a world of good. He’s fully focused, he’s loving life and I think he’s ready to put on another statement.”

Various names have been linked with Fury for his comeback and Lowe believes he needs a warm-up.

Quizzed on who should he fight for his comeback, Lowe answered: “Tyson wants to be in with all the big dogs but he needs a warm-up fight.

“You’ve always got Shannon Briggs. Someone like him, he’ll come and have a fight and he’s a good name but obviously, you’ll expect Tyson to deliver.”

“But what a shock if he gets thrown in with a top 10 opponent. At the end of the day he’s the lineal heavyweight champion of the world so why doesn’t he just fight If someone will fight.

“Fight someone with fifty fights because they’ll try and cave his head in because they know if they beat him they’ll make a name for themselves.

“Whoever he gives the chance to fight him first, it’s a great opportunity for them, so whoever it is, they’re gonna come to fight.”

Fury has been popularly mentioned with Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder in a series of social media digs at each other. A fight with either would scale up to an immense showdown.

“I think he gives them a boxing lesson, both of them. Definitely, it wouldn’t surprise me if he stomped over the heads of both of them. He would play with them like he played with Klitschko when he had the fight for the world title,” predicted Lowe.

“He would absolutely play with them. I’m not being biased, I don’t think there’s any heavyweight in the world that can touch him.

“Unless they knock him out and in heavyweight boxing, you’ve always got a chance of that, but Tyson on his ‘A game’ is untouchable,” he added.
