The 43 year-old, who is on a hot streak of victories, hopes to push towards a fight with Wladimir Klitschko in 2016 after several public clashes with the Ukrainian.
Outspoken Briggs has been filmed throwing food and shoes at Klitschko, as well as crashing numerous press conferences, in an attempt to goad the four-belt champion into an encounter.
Klitschko, 39, has work to do beforehand as he faces undefeated Tyson Fury on November 28 in Germany but ‘Dr. Steelhammer’ is reportedly eyeing an opponent for a US return in the spring – which could see Briggs considered for a voluntary title defence.
