The moment a boxing trainer died of a massive heart attack was captured on video during a DAZN broadcast on Friday night.
Diego Arrua suffered a massive trauma as he watched his wife, Sabrina Perez on her way to losing a WBC title fight. WBN will not show the video, but it was posted on social media with a warning.

The contest is shocking as Arrua is clearly seen slumping to the floor. It’s a wake-up call that life is short and can end at any moment.
Skye Nicolson, who defeated Perez on the Tijuana bill in Mexico, posted her condolences after leaving the arena.
“Today, I’m leaving Tijuana with a heavy heart,” she stated. “All my thoughts and prayers are with Sabrina Pérez and her family during this incredibly painful and horrible time.
“My heart is broken for this warrior. I can’t even imagine what she is going through.”
The Australian fighter added: “Please hold your loved ones close, life is not fair. You never know when will be your last moment with someone. May Diego Arrua rest peacefully.”
Tributes to coach Diego Arrua
Boxing has been in a period of mourning since Friday evening when the incident occurred. The WBA and WBO paid tribute to Arrua, a talented coach.
“The World Boxing Association (WBA) regrets the death of Argentinean trainer Diego Arrúa this Friday, in Tijuana, Mexico, at the age of 58.
“The South American trainer and husband of Sabrina Perez collapsed after [it was during] his pupil’s fight against Skye Nicholson. He was taken to a local hospital. Minutes later, it was learned that he had died of heart problems.
“He was a great boxing man and an excellent professional who worked most of his life in this sport. The moment left great sadness in the boxing world. It was a dramatic scene in a great event such as the one that took place in Mexico.
“The WBA sends its condolences to Arrua’s family and friends, as well as Sabrina Perez herself, in these difficult moments. Peace to his soul.”
The WBC said: “The WBC and its President, Mauricio Sulaimán, mourn the death of Diego Arrúa, trainer of champion Sabrina Pérez.
“Argentine coach Diego Arrúa died suddenly this Friday night. He suffered a massive heart attack during his wife and fighter Sabrina Pérez’s fight against Australian Skye Nicolson in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.
“The entire WBC family sends our deepest condolences to their families and friends at this sad time. Rest in peace!”
