Watch: Tyson Fury hits Barclays Center, calls Wilder v Szpilka ‘a load of s**** – both bums’

The 27 year-old captured the unified world championship by becoming the first fighter to defeat Wladimir Klitschko in over a decade in November and has been linked to a fight against headliner Deontay Wilder for some time.

Upon reporters asking his opinion on Wilder’s third defense of the WBC title against Artur Szpilka, Fury held nothing back as he let the heavyweight pair have both barrels before making his way to ringside.

“The fight is a load of shite,” told Tha Boxing Voice. “There’s only one. These both should be cleaning my shoes. They aren’t good enough to lace my boots or hold my coat. They’re bums, bums!”

A fight between Fury and Wilder is the hot encounter of the moment in the division, although the re-emergence of David Haye has certainly spiced things up. Haye called out Fury after blasting out Mark de Mori in one brutal round in London – even though the current king has repeatedly ruled out facing the ‘Hayemaker’ at all.

Fury was scheduled to fight Haye twice, firstly in 2012 and secondly in 2013, but the ex-cruiserweight champion pulled out injured on both occasions leaving the bout seemingly dead in the water.
