Tony Bellew reveals WHERE, WHEN and WEIGHT CLASS of potential Aleksandr Usyk clash

Usyk’s manager informed World Boxing News discussions had begun with the Briton and Bellew has now revealed further details surrounding the possible super-fight.

Bellew says Usyk has agreed to fight in the UK, whilst Bellew wants to challenge for Usyk’s five 200 pound belts (WBC, IBF, WBA, WBO, RING) as the WBC’s mandatory challenger in 2018.

“Personally I want to do the fight, I’d love the fight,” Bellew told talkSPORT’s Alan Brazil.

“Usyk is the first man to have all four belts around his waist and the Ring Magazine belt, and the first name out of his mouth is some fat Scouser.”

The current WBC Emeritus champion, who is entitled to invoke his right to face the green belt holder at any stage, has full faith he can withstand any Usyk barrage and fire back to shock the masterful Ukrainian.

“I’ll chin him! No two ways about it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not naïve and I don’t for one minute believe I’m a better boxer than Oleksandr Usyk, but what I can do is I can draw him into mistakes,” he said.

“I don’t care what anybody says, I’m a far bigger puncher than Murat Gassiev, I only need one – I’ve showed that over the last few years.

“I’m happy. He wants to fight in England, Eddie (Hearn, Bellew promoter) has already made calls.

“If it’s solely down to me, it’s happening. I want to see it happen and I want it before the end of the year.

“And if it is Usyk, it’ll be my last fight ever,” added ‘The Bomber’.
