Massive Jarrell Miller KO’s opponent he out-weighed by 60lbs

Former heavyweight contender Jarrell Miller recorded a second victory since returning from a three-and-a-half-year drug ban.

‘Big Baby’ dropped and stopped Derek Cardenas in four rounds after out-weighing his opponent by almost SIXTY pounds at the scaling.

However, Miller dropped weight from his last appearance in the ring. Exactly one month before the Cardenas win in June, the New Yorker scaled 341 pounds.

This time around, he was 328. Cardenas was 269.

Miller’s usual fighting weight is around 280 pounds, so there’s a long way to go for the Salita Promotions star. He’s on the right track, though, by keeping active.

Charly Suarez

In other news, Filipino Charly Suarez will return to the ring on August 7.

Suarez will defend his World Boxing Association (WBA) Asian belt against fellow Filipino Mark John Yap. The event takes place at The Flash Grand Ballroom of the Elorde Sports Complex in Paranaque City, Metro Manila.

The continental champion will make the first defense of the crown he won in March against Tomjune Mangubat with a 12-round technical knockout.

Suarez has become an icon for his country and his city. He combines his work as a boxer with his performance as a member of the national army.

He received a promotion after winning the WBA Asian title.

This time he will face an experienced Yap who always goes to war. Although recent results have not been with him, he always goes for the exchange and manages to complicate his opponents.

Suarez is undefeated in 11 fights, with seven knockouts, while Yap has 30 wins and 16 losses.

Schwarz vs Ahmatovic

Germans Tom Schwarz and Emir Ahmatovic will meet next Friday, July 29, for the World Boxing Association (WBA) continental heavyweight title in the main event to be held at the Bill Clinton Arena in Ferizaj, Kosovo.

The fight will be for the vacant title, and they will both be looking for a victory to help them move up in the rankings and keep them on the path to elite fights.

Schwarz comes into this fight on a three-fight winning streak. The 28-year-old puncher has had a promising career, and his only loss has come against Tyson Fury.

Ahmatovic has two straight victories and is 35 years old. He has faced several top-level opponents and has only lost to Filip Hrgovic.

Schwarz has 27 wins, one loss, and 19 knockouts. At the same time, Ahmatovic has 12 wins, one loss, and nine knockouts.
