Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson dressed as a bee before airing his reasons for giving a fellow passenger a series of uppercuts.
“Iron” Mike flew on a JetBlue flight when things got a little hairy as an overenthusiastic fan began pestering Tyson from behind.
Once the ex-undisputed ruler had enough, he battered hapless Melvin Townsend III until he drew blood on his forehead.
Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel, Tyson explained that he was just stoned and had a short fuse that specific day after smoking a lot of weed.
“Hey, listen, I’m usually good at these things,” Tyson told Kimmel. “I was wrong. That should’ve never happened.
“That’s me back in my primitive child stages, I shouldn’t have done that, but I was just irritated, tired, high, and pissed off. S*** happens.
He added: “I don’t wanna hurt nobody.”

Townsend sought legal advice before dropping any pursuit of the case against Tyson. However, there are still people out there who believe Townsend was within his rights to get some compensation from Mike Tyson.
It didn’t happen, and Townsend is yet to seek out any kind of celebrity for what was an embarrassing situation.
His legal advisor told TMZ: “Our client is a big Mike Tyson fan. When Mike Tyson boarded the plane, he became overly excited. At first, their interaction was cordial.
“At a certain point, Mr. Tyson clearly became agitated by an overly excited fan. He began to strike him in an excessive manner.
“This situation could have been avoided simply by contacting the flight attendant. Our client denies throwing a water bottle prior to being struck by Mr. Tyson.”
Tyson moved on quickly and was spotted at another event soon after. He also vowed never to retake a passenger flight. That promise lasted all of a few weeks.
“The Baddest Man on the Planet” is back flying commercial again, so let this be a warning to fans who plan to ask Mike for a favor in-flight

During the Kimmel appearance, Tyson donned a stripy bee outfit to declare himself beautiful. Some fellow boxers have since quizzed why Tyson would do such a thing.
It was all in the name of fun as Tyson also stopped behind fans who spoke about him without realizing he was right behind them.
