This weekend saw two of the best go at it in a friendly manner, all in the aid of charity, as Mikey Garcia traded ‘softer’ blows with Erik Morales.

With Fernando Vargas as referee, the pair entertained the crowd. Those in attendance included a host of famous names and boxing personnel.

The cause was to help Izaac Colunga, who is recovering from a shooting incident. Garcia and Morales wanted to help the family in this time of need.

Garcia is between fights yet to announce his next move following defeat to Errol Spence. It’s expected to be Danny Garcia.

Morales retired years ago after winning world titles in four weight divisions.

‘El Terrible’ shared the ring with the likes of Marco Antonio Barrera and Manny Pacquiao during a stellar Hall of Fame career.
