Tyson Fury v Tom Schwarz – Undercard results from Las Vegas

World Boxing News provides live results from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada as Tyson Fury battles Tom Schwarz at heavyweight.

Light-heavyweight Jesse Hart put himself in the mix for a title shot with a good effort against the seasoned Sullivan Barrera.

Hart had Barrera in trouble on more than one occasion when seeing out a unanimous victory with the judges.

‘Hollywood’ said his hand went in the seventh, which stopped him from taking Barrera out of there.

A world ranking will now follow for the American, who will be hoping to land shots at any of the title holders at 175.

Albert Bell claimed the biggest triumph of his career when taking the undefeated record of Andy Vences.

Undefeated in 23 bouts coming into the fight, Vences was out-fought over the ten-round duration.

Bell improved his own unblemished C.V to 15-0 with a 97-93 points victory across the board.

Mikaela Mayer continued her unbeaten run with a points decision over Lizbeth Crespo.

The fight seemed closer than the scorecards suggested. Crespo pressed Mayer to work harder than she needed to.

At the end of ten completed rounds, wide scores were read out which certainly could have been more reflective of the competitive nature on display.

On this form, though, Mayer is set to be in the shake-up for a world title shot soon enough.

LOWE

Team Fury member Isaac Lowe retained the WBC International featherweight title with a decisive points win over Duarn Vue.

Following ten rounds pretty much bossed by Lowe, the Englishman took the victory 99-91, 98-92 and 97-93.

Italian heavyweight Guido Vianello defeated Keenan Hickman after dropping his opponent three times in the second round.

Hickman was also down in round one as Vianello continued his early career progress.

In the opener, heavyweight Peter Kadiru scored a four-round decision over Juan Torres. Kadiru, like Vianello, is now 4-0.
