Kay Prospere in ‘last chance saloon’ with English title rematch on Sept 7

It really is “LAST CHANCE SALOON” for 34 year old Lutonia Kay Prospere when he gets his eagerly awaited English Super-Lightweight title on September 7th on the aptly named Last Chance Saloon Joshua Goodwin show.

The fight also doubles up as a British title eliminator moving the winner close to a crack at the British title.

After the controversial draw which many thought Prospere won, the British Boxing Board of Control ordered an immediate rematch and put the fight out to purse bids. Promoter Josh Goodwin won the bid to give Kay home advantage once again in London.

“I have to win this” said Kay. “I believe I won the first fight and was shocked at the dirty tactics of O’Maison but I am well prepared for his continual below the belt shots this time. I cannot afford not to win as at 34 years of age I need to be moving up levels now.”

“I had an army of fans for my bout last time and there will be even more this time” said Kay “I will not leaving the ring without my belt and this time I will not be leaving it to the judges”.

This bout is one of at least three major title fights on the card with others to be announced shortly.
