Conor McGregor was back in action last night as the UFC star made a boxing return after almost two years out.
‘The Notorious’ last competed when losing a solitary match-up against Floyd Mayweather in August 2017.
McGregor was stopped in ten rounds before taking a break from combat sports. Upon his comeback to MMA, the Irishman then lost again – this time to Khabib Nurmagomedov.
As he contemplates his next move, McGregor decided to shine the spotlight on his local club in Crumlin.
Displaying his signature style, McGregor eased through the bout in a head guard and vest as an excited audience watched on.

It’s not clear whether McGregor is now eyeing a second pro boxing contest on the back of the exhibition.
The two-weight UFC king has been linked to facing Paulie Malignaggi in a bare-knuckle encounter later in the year.
His weekend workout may well have been the initial steps towards a grudge match with Malignaggi.
The pair have enjoyed a tempestuous relationship since Malignaggi sparred McGregor in the build-up to the Mayweather clash.
Malignaggi went through two sessions but was irked when McGregor’s team seemingly one-sided pictures and video.
The Italian-American had a far different view of how things went down. Both have since been vocal in their dislike for each other on social media.
Should Malignaggi come through former McGregor’s pal Artem Lobov in June, it’s expected a meeting will go down before the end of 2019.
McGregor v Malignaggi will be a Pay-Per-View battle, potentially promoted by Showtime, UFC and BKFC in a joint venture.
More will be revealed once Malignaggi v Lobov goes down. McGregor is set to be ringside for the contest.
If Malignaggi does get the W, McGregor could enter the ring for an immediate head-to-head with the former two-weight pugilistic title holder.
