Time fast running out for Floyd Mayweather v Manny Pacquiao 2

A much-talked-about rematch between boxing legends Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao is fast running out of time to be completed.

As the calendar ticks into April, an agreement is yet to be confirmed by Mayweather. This is despite Pacquiao confirming talks on March 5th.

WBN has put together a full timeline of events from the end of last year when rumors began to reach fever pitch.

So far, we’ve learned that Mayweather is back in the gym. The five-time world champion is sparring properly for the first time since Conor McGregor.

Mayweather has also been rubberstamped for a return by father Floyd Sr.

We know Pacquiao is keen to face his old foe. The ‘Pacman’ has put his own career on hold whilst they attempt to thrash out a deal.

It’s been three months since Pacquiao beat Adrien Broner. At the age of 40, the Filipino Senator would normally have set-up his next move by now.

That’s why days are so precious. Mayweather has to make a final choice whether to accept by the end of this month, for sure.

Pacquiao won’t be able to wait much longer. Fights against Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter or Keith Thurman hang in the balance.

Thurman is the favorite and on standby for a possible collision should Mayweather decide against a return.

With Mayweather currently in the Philippines, there are strong suggestions the battle will get over the line.
