Just as the purse bid details were released for the WBO super-welterweight title clash between Jaime Munguia and Dennis Hogan, they were cancelled a short time later.
Munguia was ordered to defend his strap against the Australian and has now stuck a deal before the Tuesday deadline.

On Wednesday, February 27th 2019, WBO headquarter offices received email communication officially informing the WBO World Championship Committee, that an agreement was reached between representatives from both camps. In light of the foregoing, the Purse Bid scheduled for Monday, March 4th 2019, is hereby canceled.
The minimum Purse Bid amount for the WBO Jr. Middleweight was $200,000.00 US Dollars.
