Joe Joyce took time out to speak to WBN this week ahead of his big heavyweight collision with Bermane Stiverne.
‘The Juggernaut’ battles the former WBC champion live on ITV Box Office from London this Saturday night.
In the wake of Tyson Fury signing a massive ESPN deal, Joyce was asked his thought on the rematch with Deontay Wilder.
Recent news of Fury’s deal with ESPN sparked doubt amongst fans of whether the fight will still go ahead.
Wilder’s co-manager Shelly Finkel is keen to continue talks. Still, it remains a fact that the network changes can provide barriers for the future fights between Fury, Wilder and Anthony Joshua.
Asking Joyce (📸 Esther Lin) about this, he exclusively told World Boxing News: “Yeah, the rematch is definitely going to still happen but I’m not exactly sure what the deal is.
“I know all three world champions are on different networks so maybe they never meet.
“It’s going to be a bit harder to make those fights, obviously networks want to have full coverage of their fights so it’ll make it a bit more difficult to sort that out.
“I don’t know but I think the rematch with Fury and Wilder won’t have a problem.
“Future fights? I don’t know how the rest can happen with Joshua and Wilder or Joshua and Fury. I can’t see that that’s going to happen.”
