Badou Jack and Jorge Linares, both of whom suffered damaging losses this month, have been removed from the list. While Carl Frampton and Ryan Burnett miss out after losing their world titles in 2018.
Frampton and Burnett made way for a surge of newcomers to the 50. Nordine Oubaali, Caleb Plant and Marcus Browne all made the breakthrough following impressive victories.
In contrast, Pacquiao defeated fellow P4P star Adrien Broner, who becomes the fifth big name fighter to part the rankings.
The ‘Pacman’ has back-to-back victories over world-class opposition and is back in the hunt for a rematch with Floyd Mayweather.
Vasyl Lomachenko remains at the helm as talks continue for a mandatory fight with Anthony Crolla.
The formidable Ukrainian is followed by Canelo, good friend Oleksandr Usyk, Mikey Garcia and Pacquiao (???? Esther Lin).
