Ryan Wheeler features of packed Sanigar Show ‘Raise the Stakes’

RINGSIDE 22/01/2019

Sanigar Events are pleased to announce their first night of professional boxing in 2019 at the Dolman Hall, Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol.

The event will feature an action packed card with talent from across Bristol and the Westcountry.

Headlining the show will be Frome’s unbeaten contender Ryan Wheeler who survived a brutal encounter with visiting Mexican Giovanny Martinez in October.

Wheeler has been working hard in the gym and will make the step up from featherweight to super-featherweight promising 2019 will be a special year.

Tim Cutler joins Wheeler at the top of the bill and aims to take a step up in class and make waves in the lightweight division this year.

Pawel August already has 2 dates in the diary and will no doubt want to add more knockout wins to his impressive 8 fight record.

Pawel has stopped 3 of his last 4 opponents and looks like one to watch this year!

South Bristol’s favourite middleweight Aaron Sutton is keen to show that his time spent in the gym will pay dividends, he has looked a step above his opposition so far and aims to emulate Bristol middleweight royalty Glenn Catley.

Exciting fan favourite Faheem Khan will bring his loyal army up from Exeter to do battle at Ashton Gate once again, Khan is unbeaten in Bristol winning all three of his contests last year, all in exciting fashion.

Sam Smythe has seen the benefit of working closely with his stable mate Aaron Sutton since his last fight and wants to put the sparring into practice on March 2nd.

Lightweight Tyler Davies has been hitting hard in training and wants to add some knockouts to his perfect record. Weston’s ‘Raging Bull’ Liam Hunt had a mixed year in 2018 but a win at Ashton Gate will put him on the right foot to start this season.
