Chisora launches astonishing attack on Hearn, Whyte’s recent opponents

Derek Chisora didn’t hold back on promoter Eddie Hearn and Dillian Whyte’s run of victories since losing to Anthony Joshua.

‘WAR’ prepares to duke it out with ‘The Bodysnatcher’ for the second time this weekend. As always there’s been no love lost between the pair.

In what was an astonishing rant, Chisora gave Hearn both barrels despite a close working relationship with the Matchroom boss.

“Eddie is a snake in the grass,” Chisora said during fight week. “Boxing is like pimps and hoes. Promoters are pimps and boxers are hoes, that is how it is.

“Let us all be honest, he sold him short. I believe when you hold the WBC silver belt you are mandatory to fight for the No 1.

“They never bothered investing the money for him to fight for the WBC title.

“He should have got him a fight with Deontay Wilder. Eddie was supposed to make that fight happen. If I had that silver belt I would have been fighting Wilder.

“Dillian wants to fight Deontay, but Deontay wants money. If Eddie produced money, said to Deontay there is money for you, here is $7million, fight in London, he would have come. But he kept low-balling the guy.”

FORM

On Whyte’s recent good form, Chisora took the opportunity to pan his rival’s opponents.

“Browne was only over from Australia a week before the fight and was jetlagged. He told me he hadn’t trained and he would do what he could do. He had only done about five spars, seven rounds.

“Parker was given the WBO belt, he was nothing. How many defences? Dillian nearly lost in the last round. If it went another round, he was finished.

“So you can’t go praising those two fights. Has Dillian improved? No, Dillian is s***,” he concluded.

Chisora is in the shape of his life for this weekend’s clash having recently teamed up with David Haye.

An updated training plan and renewed focus has some fancying Chisora for the upset, with a third fight on the cards if the Finchley man can pull it off.

Whyte v Chisora 2 is live on Sky Sports Box Office this Saturday night and on Showtime in the USA
