Goodwin Boxing are delighted to announce that they have secured a Southern Area Title shot for their 22 year old prospect Liam Dillon.
Dillon has amassed an 8 fight undefeated record since making his debut in April 2017.
He will take on former Area lighgtweight challenger David Birmingham (8-3) on 9th March 2019 at York Hall.
Whilst only stopping one of his eight opponents, Dillon has an all action style which is more suited to the longer rounds which he believes will be the crucial factor in this contest with the tough Portsmouth man.
Dillon’s manager Steve Goodwin was delighted to secure this opportunity.
“Liam has come a long way and has an excellent trainer who is getting improvement in every single fight from him.
“David is a tough opponent but we feel Liam is ready to take the step up and we are really excited about this fight.”
